Position: Data Analyst (Temp)

The Data Analyst (Temp) will support data analytics and reporting efforts at BSA. This includes extraction, transformation, integration and loading of data into data systems, as well as the use of reporting tools to respond to ongoing requests for data from senior management. The Data Analyst (Temp) will also collaborate on projects such as the implementation of a data warehouse, automating reports using SQL Server, and generating reports using reporting visualization tools (such as Microsoft’s Power BI tool). The Data Analyst (Temp) will report to the Senior Director, Global Internet and Data Analytics and will work closely with BSA’s Data Analyst on day-to-day activities.

Position: Internet Investigator (Temp)
Location: Washington, DC

The Internet Investigator (Temp) will assist the Global Internet Enforcement Department in the removal of online infringing sales of member software, and the investigation of unauthorized electronic distribution of software and other forms of cybercrime. The Internet Investigator (Temp) will gain knowledge of the techniques used for distributing, making available and obtaining copyright protected digital files on the Internet, as well as proficiency with using web-based systems and other technologies (e-mail, Peer-to-Peer, web portals, web bots, payment processing mechanisms, etc.) to respond to and/or investigate copyright infringing activity that occurs online. More than half of this individual’s time will be spent in the monitoring of websites and marketplaces where infringing copies of BSA member software is offered for sale, and the remaining time will be spent supporting the Global Internet Enforcement team on various assignments in support of their investigations and projects.

Position: Country Manager – India
Location: New Delhi, India

The Country Manager – India will oversee and develop all aspects of BSA’s initiatives in India, including government relations and policy, marketing and public relations, member relations and general administration. The Country Manager will also support regional staff in the development of software license compliance programs, and will develop strategy related to potential software copyright enforcement. The individual must be a highly-motivated self-starter with the diverse skills needed to lead BSA’s activities in India, working very closely with BSA members. The position requires an outcome-focused individual with very strong relationship skills and experience, the ability to develop and run programs, and the capability to manage external advisors, counsel and other vendors.
