Washington, DC — August 23, 2012 —
The Business Software Alliance (BSA) and a coalition of industry leaders will host receptions at the 2012 Republican and Democratic National Conventions to highlight the role of technology innovation in the US economy.
At the Republican National Convention, BSA and technology groups including Microsoft, TechNet, and TechAmerica will sponsor a reception hosted by the non-profit service charity Citizens Helping Heroes in honor of the House Republican whip team. The following week, BSA and technology partners including Intel, CompTIA and CEA will host an event celebrating the industry’s contribution to the economy, bringing together the technology community and Democratic lawmakers and staff. Each reception is expected to attract hundreds of convention-goers.
