BSA supports a comprehensive trade agenda that opens fast-growing IT markets around the world to cloud computing, data analytics and other products and services that define and enable the use of information. In addition to effective IP protections, this requires trade and enforcement rules that:
- Keep borders open to the free flow of data and prohibit government mandates to locate servers or other computing facilities locally.
- Ensure government procurement and procurement by state-owned enterprises is open to foreign products and services.
- Support development of market-led, globally adopted technology standards
- Eliminate existing tariffs to IT products and services.
