Workforce Development

By 2020, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that there will be 1.4 million computing jobs but just 400,000 computer science students with the skills to apply for those jobs. BSA supports:

  • investments in computer science education that are inclusive and increase the pipeline of Americans to fulfill new jobs in the data economy,
  • effective visa programs for high-skilled immigrants to ensure the best minds of the world can help businesses grow in the United States.
