Representatives from BSA | The Software Alliance member companies will explain how companies examine and use regulatory frameworks to manage risk in artificial intelligence.
Reps from tech companies including Adobe, Box, Workday and Microsoft will be on the Hill this afternoon to talk about how companies are managing the risks of artificial intelligence and examine regulatory frameworks, including the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s AI Risk Management Framework. The briefing is led by tech trade group BSA, The Software Alliance, which represents companies including Microsoft and IBM. It comes ahead of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s third all-Senate AI briefing on Wednesday, and just days after the Biden administration on Friday announced it secured commitments from a slew of tech companies — including Amazon, Anthropic, Google, Inflection, Meta, Microsoft and OpenAI — to abide by eight rules for the responsible development of AI systems.
