Director, Legislative Strategy
Brandon Consolvo serves as Director, Legislative Strategy. Consolvo helps drive BSA’s engagement with Congress on important software policy issues.
A native of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Consolvo was most recently a Senior Policy Advisor for House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, where he led judiciary, technology, space, energy, transportation, and infrastructure initiatives. Prior to his work in the Leader’s office, Consolvo spent nearly two years at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, where he engaged external stakeholders and managed, coordinated, and led external affairs initiatives. In addition, Consolvo helped lay the foundation for Hess Corporation’s DC office where he constructed and maintained relationships with federal policymakers and executed policy engagement strategies across national and international assets. Consolvo has held positions in the office of Senator Bill Frist and the Office of Legislative Affairs in the George W. Bush White House.
Consolvo holds a B.A. in International Studies from American University and an Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He is based in BSA’s Washington, DC, office.
