Eleni Chronopoulou

Senior Manager, Policy – EMEA

Eleni Chronopoulou serves as Senior Manager, Policy – EMEA at BSA | The Software Alliance in Brussels, Belgium. She works with members to develop and execute policy priorities that advance the deployment of software services. She is responsible for cyber security and trade policy across the EMEA region, with a particular focus on EU free trade agreements, market access barriers, and export controls.

Prior to joining BSA, Chronopoulou served as a Political Advisor to Dimitrios Droutsas and Marju Lauristin, both former Members of the European Parliament, where she was evaluating and drafting data protection and privacy legislation.

Chronopoulou earned an LL.M. with a focus on EU Competition Law from the Free University of Brussels (VUB), and an LL.B. from the University of Athens (UOA). She speaks Greek, English and French. Chronopoulou is an EU qualified lawyer, certified by the Athens Bar Association. She is based in BSA’s Brussels office.
