Heather Curry

Senior Director, State Advocacy

Heather Curry leads BSA’s state advocacy program, where she oversees legislative engagement across all 50 states. In this capacity, Curry works to advance the enterprise software industry’s priorities in state capitols and elevate BSA’s solutions-oriented approach to regulatory policy. Curry works at all levels of government and regularly engages stakeholders across public, private, and nonprofit sectors.

Prior to joining BSA, Heather directed multistate engagement for the Goldwater Institute, where she led numerous successful policy campaigns across dozens of states. In this role, she was also fortunate to work to advance regulatory reforms designed to benefit America’s servicemembers and military families. Curry also previously oversaw state affairs for the Cato Institute in Washington, DC.

Curry graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
