Craig Albright leads BSA's engagement with the US Congress. Prior to joining BSA, he spent four years as the World Bank Group's Special Representative for the United States, Australia, Canada and New Zealand, managing relations with government officials, private sector executives, think tank academics, civil society leaders and others. Vice President, Global Policy

Aaron Cooper serves as Vice President, Global Policy. In this role, Cooper leads BSA’s global policy team and contributes to the advancement of BSA members’ policy priorities around the world that affect the development of emerging technologies, including data privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and trade. Cooper joined BSA in February 2016 as Vice President, Strategic Policy Initiatives. Read more

Chief Financial Officer

Joe DeSalvio is BSA’s Chief Financial Officer.  In this role, he leads our finance team in planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of BSA, including BSA Software Services, Inc. (SSI) and Software.org: the BSA Foundation.  In addition, DeSalvio oversees the human resources and IT teams. Read more

Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Jodie L. Kelley leads BSA’s domestic and international compliance & enforcement programs including its copyright-enforcement activities, its compliance policy work, its efforts against Internet crime, and its educational programs to promote software license compliance and respect for intellectual property. Kelley serves as BSA’s general counsel for all corporate matters and manages BSAs’ anti-piracy programs and counsel in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas. Read more

Vice President, Global Policy

Aaron Cooper serves as Vice President, Global Policy. In this role, Cooper leads BSA’s global policy team and contributes to the advancement of BSA members’ policy priorities around the world that affect the development of emerging technologies, including data privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and trade. Director General, Policy — EMEA

Thomas Boué oversees the BSA | The Software Alliance’s public policy activities in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. He advises BSA members on public policy and legal developments and advocates the views of the ICT sector with both European and national policy makers. He leads on security and privacy issues as well as broader efforts to improve levels of intellectual property protection and to promote open markets, fair competition, and technology innovation in new areas such as cloud computing.   Read more

Senior Manager, Policy – EMEA

Eleni Chronopoulou serves as Senior Manager, Policy – EMEA at BSA | The Software Alliance in Brussels, Belgium. She works with members to develop and execute policy priorities that advance the deployment of software services. She is responsible for cyber security and trade policy across the EMEA region, with a particular focus on EU free trade agreements, market access barriers, and export controls. Read more

Leticia S. Lewis serves as Director, Policy at BSA | The Software Alliance in Washington, DC. In this capacity, she works with members to develop BSA’s policy positions and articulate them to policy makers in the United States and abroad. Sarah Coombes leads BSA’s compliance & enforcement efforts in Europe, Middle East and Africa. She manages BSA’s EMEA legal affairs team and drives the enforcement programs across the region. Director, Compliance & Enforcement - Americas

Jesse Martin leads BSA’s compliance & enforcement efforts in the Americas by managing BSA’s internal legal affairs team, as well as its outside enforcement counsel. In coordination with these efforts, Martin collaborates with BSA’s compliance marketing team to drive campaigns and educational activities throughout the region. Read more

Senior Director - APAC

Tarun Sawney drives all compliance & enforcement activities in Asia-Pacific for BSA. In close consultation with BSA members, he has developed customized compliance solutions on a country-by-country basis across APAC. He is responsible for liaising with stakeholders in both the private and public sector and works with the policy team to reduce unlicensed software rates by advocating for the regulatory and enforcement changes necessary to enhance software IPR protection. Senior Director, Global Internet & Data Analysis

Joel Schwarz oversees BSA’s Global Internet Enforcement program, designed to monitor and combat Internet-facilitated software infringement via multiple channels, including auction/marketplace websites, digital downloads, peer-to-peer and other file-sharing networks and protocols, and stand-alone e-commerce sites.  Read more
