Verafirm Registry and Registered Status

More than simple license management, the Verafirm registry is unique. It is an industry-first portal that provides a common interface to companies, buyers and publishers. Verafirm Verified

Companies can continue to take advantage of their SAM practices and get certified by a third party to move on to the Verified status. Verafirm verification consists of a third party audit of the declaration of licenses in the registration process. The BSA will review the findings of the auditor and offer verified status to your organization.

Verafirm Certified

Meant for organizations who are larger and have SAM process in place, certification is an opportunity to ensure company’s SAM practices are benchmarked and aligned to ISO 19770-1:2012 SAM Standard and the results of effective SAM processes are license compliance, optimization of software and costs throughout the software lifecycle, better visibility into IT and control over the IT environment.  The gold standard in SAM certification, Verafirm Certified companies uniquely signal ethical management and strong business controls and stand out among competitors with a globally recognized certification.
