BSA Welcomes Atlassian As Newest Member

Atlassian to join leading association of enterprise software companies

WASHINGTON – January 14, 2020 – BSA | The Software Alliance today announced the addition of Atlassian as a new global member. Atlassian’s General Counsel, Erika Fisher, will join BSA’s Board of Directors.

“We’re pleased to welcome Atlassian as BSA’s newest member,” said Victoria Espinel, President & CEO of BSA | The Software Alliance. “We look forward to their partnership as we advocate on global policy issues including privacy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and cross-border data flows.”

The addition of a Sydney-headquartered company presents an opportunity for continued engagement on policies relating to the software industry. This partnership will ensure that Atlassian and BSA can come together and shape the agenda on public policies that drive the digital economy.

“I’m excited to begin Atlassian’s partnership with BSA | The Software Alliance,” said Erika Fisher, General Counsel at Atlassian. “The software landscape has changed dramatically since Atlassian was founded over 17 years ago. There’s a lot of work needed to ensure that today’s policies reflect the evolving digital economy. Our membership with BSA will help Atlassian move the needle on digital policy issues.”
