BSA Praises House Passage of IDEA Act

WASHINGTON – November 29, 2018 – BSA | The Software Alliance applauds the passage of the 21st Century IDEA Act by the US House of Representatives today. The bill would modernize federal digital services by making government websites mobile-friendly, removing redundant paper forms, and promoting the use of e-signatures. These changes will make the federal government more efficient and allow agencies to provide better services for Americans. BSA thanks Reps. Ro Khanna and John Ratcliffe for introducing the legislation in the House. We look forward to working with Sens. Rob Portman and Claire McCaskill, the bill’s sponsors in the Senate, as well as the full Senate and the Administration to pass the bill before the end of the year.
