BSA Leads Companies in Raising Alarm To Save E-Commerce Customs Duty Moratorium

BSA and a coalition of 170 business groups representing more than 20 different sectors in 130 countries released a statement urging WWTO members to continue the e-commerce moratorium.

“The strength and the value of the moratorium lies in many ways in its constructive ambiguity — the fact that it broadly covers an array of activity in the digital economy,” said Joe Whitlock, policy director at BSA | The Software Alliance, a U.S.-based tech business group whose members include Adobe, Cisco, Microsoft and Oracles.
