BSA Welcomes Executive Action on Cybersecurity
WASHINGTON, DC — April 1, 2015 —
BSA | The Software Alliance today praised President Barack Obama’s Executive Order on cybersecurity.
"We applaud the President's continuing deep commitment to address cyber threats to our nation and our economy. Today's Executive Order creates important tools to thwart new and emerging cyber threats, especially with the problem of trade secret theft, where the US will now have a tool to deter foreign bad actors who attempt to monetize stolen trade secrets,” said BSA Policy Director Chris Hopfensperger. “We look forward to working with the Administration as this important Order is used against bad actors."
