BSA writes a letter to Members of the Massachusetts Conference Committee on MA S 2619, The Massachusetts Data Privacy Act, and MA H 5479, House amendments to the Senate Bill establishing the Massachusetts Data Privacy Act. BSA has concerns in these two pieces of legislation regarding private right of action and broad definitions of processors, and recommends the House and Senate versions make the accompanying changes.
