‘Privacy Shield’ adoption is ‘important development,’ software industry says

Today’s adoption of a new trans-Atlantic data-transfer arrangement is an “important development,” said trade association BSA | The Software Alliance. The shifting of data across borders allows European and American businesses to offer the best services and products to consumers, said Victoria Espinel, the President of the association.
