BSA | The Software Alliance appreciates efforts by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) to recognize the practical ways in which high standards of data protection may be maintained while encouraging the responsible development of technologies, as it consults on potential reforms to the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Our comments focus on five aspects of the consultation: Interoperability; Transfer Mechanisms; Legitimate Interests; Data Breach Notification; and Artificial Intelligence.
