In its response to the EU’s public consultation on the forthcoming “Apply AI” strategy, BSA acknowledges the importance of advancing AI innovation and competitiveness in Europe. It cautions, however, that imposing overly restrictive sovereignty requirements could limit market access, raise costs, and create legal uncertainty—advocating instead for international cooperation built on shared values.
