BSA CEO: Initiative Can Focus Leading Economies on AI Adoption

WASHINGTON – Business Software Alliance CEO Victoria Espinel issued the following statement regarding the release of the G7 Leaders’ “Statement on AI for Prosperity,” including its commitment to launch an “AI Adoption Roadmap” for the world’s leading economies. 

“The Business Software Alliance commends the G7 leaders for launching the G7 AI Adoption Roadmap, an initiative that can focus work and policies across leading economies to promote the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI). AI adoption is a welcome focus for G7 leaders; it recognizes that AI competitiveness is not only about developing the best tools – but also ensuring that those AI tools are put to work to make economies more successful and globally competitive. BSA has prioritized AI adoption in economies around the world, and our members look forward to working with G7 leaders to help operationalize the AI Adoption Roadmap and support the adoption of trustworthy AI across the world’s leading economies.”
