BSA | The Software Alliance sponsored the first-ever Washington, DC Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program. This seven-week computer science intensive course helped equip high school girls with the foundational skills needed for a career in tech—from robotics to mobile app development to HTML. A PBS film crew from “To the Contrary with Bonnie Erbe” visited the BSA classroom, accompanied the girls on a trip to Capitol Hill, and attended their graduation.
