BSA recommends adopting narrowly defined and risk-based data classification, refraining from introducing new requirements for cross-border data transfers, adopt internationally recognized personal data transfer mechanisms without additional requirements, and ensure that Vietnam’s broader legal framework supports AI innovation, among others.
BSA appreciates the continued efforts of the Government of Japan to make Japan the “the most AI-friendly country in the world,” and engage with relevant stakeholders to implement the initiatives set out in the AI Basic Plan to achieve this goal.
