The Business Software Alliance (BSA) welcomes the opportunity to provide feedback to the National Data Protection Authority (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados - ANPD) on the public consultation the processing of biometric data.
BSA recommends governments adopt policies that permit non-consumptive analysis of copyrighted materials for AI training, maintain takedown tools for infringing content, and support voluntary opt-out mechanisms.
