The Business Software Alliance has urged South Korea's parliament to amend its upcoming AI law by temporarily suspending business obligations for a certain period after it takes effect in January 2026, noting that immediate compliance would burden companies. The group said in a statement directed to the National Assembly that it supports pending legislative efforts to delay enforcement of the regulatory provisions so that companies can make better preparations or fundamental issues can be addressed.
