BSA filed comments with Korea's Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC) on the PIPC's draft amendments to the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act.
BSA recommends adopting narrowly defined and risk-based data classification, refraining from introducing new requirements for cross-border data transfers, adopt internationally recognized personal data transfer mechanisms without additional requirements, and ensure that Vietnam’s broader legal framework supports AI innovation, among others.
