BSA appreciates the opportunity to comment on the Initial Public Draft of NIST Internal Report 8596 Cybersecurity Framework Profile for Artificial Intelligence. We agree that there is “value in developing guidance based on the CSF to address the cybersecurity challenges related to AI adoption and use.” As we explain in BSA’s US Enterprise AI Adoption Agenda, “Proactive policies that encourage the use of trustworthy and secure enterprise AI – through talent, infrastructure and data, and workable frameworks – can ensure that these benefits are widely distributed and aligned with national economic goals.”
