National Governor's Association's National Summit on State Cybersecurity

BSA's Henry Young  moderates a panel on Software and IT Chain Management to Overcome Near- and Long-Term Vulnerabilities during the three-day event focused on state cybersecurity. The panel will focus on how states are thinking about securing an ever-growing list of vendors and third-party suppliers. The panel will discuss how to tackle this complex challenge and how the private sector is approaching supply chain as an example for the states.

The National Governor’s Association (NGA) is hosting its fifth National Summit on State Cybersecurity June 22-24 in Columbus, OH. As the only national meeting exclusively focused on state cybersecurity, this unique three-day event will convene Governors’ offices, state homeland security advisors, chief information officers, chief information security officers, and National Guard leaders. Participants will explore cybersecurity challenges and promising practices at a critical times following the passage of the bipartisan infrastructure investment and Jobs Act, which includes $1 billion in funding for state and local cybersecurity improvements.
