The Business Software Alliance (BSA) welcomes the opportunity to submit comments in response to the California Privacy Protection Agency’s (CPPA) proposed rulemaking on automated decisionmaking, cybersecurity audits, and risk assessments (“the proposed regulations”).
BSA shares the goals of ensuring protection for consumers’ personal data and supporting India’s growing innovation ecosystem. The release of the Draft Digital Personal Data Protection Rules for public consultation is a welcome step toward achieving those goals.
