“The Office of the National Cyber Director plays a critical role in forming the United States’ approach to cybersecurity. The ONCD’s partnership with industry, including software and technology companies that produce cybersecurity solutions, helps to set policies that ensure the US maintains a dynamic and risk-based approach to cybersecurity. The ONCD additionally partners with allied economies to ensure a globally coordinated approach to cybersecurity policy. We look forward to working with Director Coker to advance this shared mission.

BSA additionally appreciates the important work of former Interim Director Kemba Walden during her service as head of ONCD during the past year. Her work to launch the National Cyber Strategy set a north star for US cybersecurity policy, and leaves a strong foundation for Director Coker moving forward."
