In light of the newly announced EU-Korea Digital Trade Agreement (DTA), the Business Software Alliance (BSA) released the following statement:

This deal bridges EU and Korean approaches to privacy, data flows, and digital trade and improves legal certainty for businesses. It also reflects the EU’s broader digital trade agenda, which has already set important precedents through agreements with Japan and Singapore.
