The article started out with exploring the notion that India’s Justice Srikrishna committee’s proposed Data Protection Bill could have positive implications and growth potential for larger companies such as Microsoft, Amazon Web Services and Google since they have established servers in India and have been aggressively expanding operations. The industry has criticised the move.
