BSA | The Software Alliance has joined dozens of civil society organizations, companies, and trade associations in urging the Senate Judiciary Committee to adopt the Email Privacy Act (H.R. 699). That bill passed the House of Representatives in April by a unanimous vote of 419-0. The committee is scheduled on Thursday to markup a Senate version of the bill, the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) Amendments Act (S. 356). Lire la suite
