BSA Urges Incoming Administration to Focus On a Tech Policy That Prioritizes US Leadership and Innovation

BSA | The Software Alliance in its Nov. 6 statement urged “the incoming administration and leaders in Congress to pursue a tech policy agenda that prioritizes US leadership and innovation.”
“President-elect Trump has an opportunity to build upon a policy foundation established across multiple administrations to ensure that the United States leads on technology policy and innovation,” BSA said.
“The incoming Trump administration can spur the development of stronger cybersecurity solutions, advance high standards for cross-border data transfers, and ensure the US leadership on artificial intelligence (AI) policy to empower innovators and create a level playing field that allows businesses and consumers to easily develop and adopt AI,” according to BSA.
