Tech plays a role in latest tariff rumblings

“We need future-proof rules that respect the differences between network infrastructure and digital services, avoid unnecessary duplication, and preserve the openness of the Internet,” said Alice Stradi, senior manager at Business Software Alliance (BSA), in a statement — as the Commission appears increasingly open to stepping in on internet interconnection and net neutrality rules.
