WASHINGTON – February 16, 2021 – BSA | The Software Alliance today released “Building a More Effective Strategy for ICT Supply Chain Security,” a white paper calling on the Administration and Congress to shift US supply chain security policy to an assurance-based approach, coordinated across government agencies with a strategic focus.

“In recent years, supply chain security policy has all too often been reactive and overly broad, in ways that ultimately do not advance security and impede economic growth. As the SolarWinds intrusion demonstrated, there are significant threats to ICT supply chains.
