BSA | The Software Alliance has released a paper explaining steps governments should take to improve their cybersecurity practices, including bolstering software security and modernizing government information technology.
“Modern society is built on software--it connects people to their friends and family, enables businesses to operate more efficiently and securely, and underpins the global economy,” BSA said in the paper released on Wednesday. “In the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, software was essential in enabling remote learning, working, and healthcare. Software is also shaping our future, driving 5G wireless networks, the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchains, and artificial intelligence.”
