BSA: National Cyber Strategy Offers Path Toward Secure, Resilient Future
WASHINGTON – BSA | The Software Alliance welcomed the release of the US National Cyber Strategy, saying many of its recommendations will help foster collaboration between the US government, industry, and international partners to build a more secure and resilient digital ecosystem.
Victoria Espinel, President and CEO of BSA | The Software Alliance, issued the following statement:
“The US National Cyber Strategy offers a thoughtful path for the private sector, US Government, and other stakeholders to collaborate to build a more secure and resilient future. Makers of enterprise software take seriously their responsibilities to customers and the public, and continuously work to evolve the security of their products to meet new threats.
BSA is glad this strategy recognizes both the integral role the private sector plays in building and maintaining a secure and resilient digital ecosystem, and the concrete steps the US Government can take to further strengthen our national cybersecurity posture. BSA looks forward to continued work with ONCD and the Administration to advance shared priorities within the National Cyber Strategy that will produce the greatest benefit.”
For Background: BSA has engaged the Office of the National Cyber Director to urge the adoption of a National Cyber Strategy that incorporates the solutions offered by BSA as part of its 2023 Global Cyber Agenda.
