BSA Welcomes ONCD Efforts to Boost Internet Security
BSA | The Software Alliance Senior Director, Policy Henry Young, issued the following statement regarding the Office of the National Cybersecurity Director’s (ONCD) report on enhancing Internet routing security.
“ONCD’s report on enhancing Internet routing security and Border Gateway Protocols helps to elevate cybersecurity across governments and every sector of the economy.
BSA supports collaborative work across governments worldwide and with communications and information technology leaders to continue to drive better security. Ensuring the interoperability between governments worldwide will drive economic growth and enhance the national security of the US and around the globe. The improvement of the digital ecosystem is critical in protecting the underlying information from consumers, businesses, and governments.
BSA’s 2024 Global Cyber Agenda recommends that governments should enhance software security and harmonize cybersecurity laws and policies, and we look forward to working with the ONCD on the continued development and implementation of the National Cybersecurity Strategy.”
