BSA Backs CISA 2015 Reauthorization Bill
Inside Cybersecurity
By Sara Friedman
The Business Software Alliance took a positive stance on Garbarino’s bill in a statement.
BSA’s Henry Young said, “The Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act is a cornerstone of the United States' efforts to defend against the most troubling malicious actors and better protect Americans' digital presence.
“BSA has urged members of the House and Senate in both parties to seize on areas of consensus to extend and improve the core provisions of CISA 2015, including through the adoption of AI-enabled tools for cybersecurity purposes. BSA commends the House Homeland Security Committee for catalyzing the important work needed to complete reauthorization of this vital program before its expiration date,” according to Young.
