WASHINGTON – July 26, 2021 – BSA | The Software Alliance today welcomed Gideon Lett as Chief Growth Officer. Based in San Francisco, Lett will play an important role in expanding the global reach of the leading tech trade association dedicated to software.

Before joining BSA, Lett served as a Senior Advisor for Fair Tech at Access Partnership, where he was an outside advisor and resource to firm leadership and clients at the intersection of tech policy, social impact, and stakeholder engagement. Previously, Lett was Principal and Head of Office, Bay Area, for Monument Advocacy, where he established and led California operations for the lobbying and public affairs firm.

Lett has also served as Vice President, Government Affairs & Strategic Partnerships at TechNet, where he led growth initiatives and engaged policymakers on issues including data privacy and security, artificial intelligence, and workforce development. Earlier in his career, Lett held roles at APCO Worldwide and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in Washington, D.C. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
