Tomoko Naoe
Director, Policy — Japan
Tomoko Naoe works with BSA members to develop and advance position on key policy issues in Japan, including artificial intelligence (AI), cloud adoption, privacy, cybersecurity, digital trade, and cross-border data flows. She drives BSA’s engagement with policymakers, government agencies, industry associations, and academics to advocate the views of BSA members, encouraging policies that drive technological innovation and digital transformation in society.
She currently serves on the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ), working to improve international business environment in Japan with the ACCJ’s leadership team.
Prior to joining BSA, she worked at Warner Music, leading strategic planning to market and license music of international artists in Japan, US, and Asia.
She holds a BA from Aoyama Gakuin University.
