Craig Albright leads BSA's engagement with the US Congress. Prior to joining BSA, he spent four years as the World Bank Group's Special Representative for the United States, Australia, Canada and New Zealand, managing relations with government officials, private sector executives, think tank academics, civil society leaders and others. General Counsel and Vice President

Adam Coates leads BSA’s domestic and international compliance solutions programs, including end-user copyright enforcement, educational programs to promote software license compliance and respect for intellectual property, and BSA’s efforts to prevent the spread of unlicensed and malware-infected software on the Internet. Aaron Cooper serves as Vice President, Global Policy. Chief Financial Officer

Joe DeSalvio is BSA’s Chief Financial Officer.  In this role, he leads our finance team in planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of BSA, including BSA Software Services, Inc. (SSI) and Software.org: the BSA Foundation.  In addition, DeSalvio oversees the human resources and IT teams. Read more

Vice President, Global Policy

Aaron Cooper serves as Vice President, Global Policy. In this role, Cooper leads BSA’s global policy team and contributes to the advancement of BSA members’ policy priorities around the world that affect the development of emerging technologies, including data privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and trade. Director General, Policy — EMEA

Thomas Boué oversees the BSA | The Software Alliance’s public policy activities in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. He advises BSA members on public policy and legal developments and advocates the views of the ICT sector with both European and national policy makers. He leads on security and privacy issues as well as broader efforts to improve levels of intellectual property protection and to promote open markets, fair competition, and technology innovation in new areas such as cloud computing.   Read more

Brian Fletcher is Director, Policy – APAC. Working closely with BSA member companies, he manages BSA’s policy and government affairs initiatives in the APAC region, with a focus on Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea, and South East Asian countries. Read more

Country Manager—India

Venkatesh Krishnamoorthy leads on policy issues around personal data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, cloud adoption, and emerging technologies in India. At BSA, one of his key focus areas is to promote cross-border data flows, enable data transfers, and pushback against data localization mandates. Read more

Eunice Lim is Senior Manager, Policy — APAC. In this role, she works closely with the BSA team to develop strategies and implement plans to advance BSA’s policy agenda in APAC with a focus on privacy and data flows issues. Read more

Senior Manager, Policy — Japan

Tomoko Naoe works with BSA members to advance positions on key policy issues including privacy, cybersecurity, digital trade, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud computing in Japan. She has organized and developed a series of BSA-hosted international conferences involving policy makers, industry associations, and academics in Japan and abroad to advocate the views BSA members, encouraging policies that drive technological innovation and digital implementation in society. Associate General Counsel & Senior Director, Compliance Solutions

Jesse K. Martin leads BSA’s compliance solutions efforts in the Americas and the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions by managing BSA’s internal legal affairs team, as well as its outside enforcement counsel.
