Position: Communications Intern

The Communications Intern will work as part of a small team on external communications activities that support BSA’s policy goals, corporate positioning and reputation. The intern will develop knowledge of BSA, its member companies, and the association’s high-priority issues, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, workforce development, trade, and data policy. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public policy communications. The intern will work closely with the Senior Director, Global Communications, and the Communications Coordinator.

Position: Director, Policy – APAC

The Director, Policy – APAC manages BSA’s policy and government affairs initiatives in the APAC region, with a focus on Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea, and South East Asian countries, working under the direction of the Senior Director, Policy - APAC, and working closely with BSA member companies in the APAC region.

Position: Policy Manager – APAC

The Policy Manager – APAC will be part of the BSA Asia-Pacific (APAC) Policy Team and will support and assist the Team in its activities to advance BSA’s policy priorities in Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea, and South East Asian countries. The incumbent will develop knowledge of BSA, its members, and policy issues affecting the software industry in the region, including privacy, cybersecurity, law enforcement access and encryption, digital trade/market access barriers, emerging technologies (such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, etc.) and intellectual property policy and assist to develop and implement plans to engage on these issues to promote innovation, digital trade, and market access for the software industry. The incumbent will network with a broad array of government officials, policymakers, academics, and information technology industry professionals. The Policy Manager – APAC reports to the Senior Director, Policy – APAC.

Position: Program Manager, BSA Certification (Contractor)

BSA is currently seeking to retain the services of an experienced certification professional to oversee the execution of the SAM Certification program. This is a contract position that will establish and maintain relationships with vendors and business partners and manage all aspects of the program, including sales, marketing, product improvement, and budget. The Program Manager reports to BSA’s Chief Operating Officer and will also work closely with the Chief Financial Officer.
