Position: Legislative Strategy Intern

The Legislative Strategy Intern will work as part of a small team on activities that support BSA’s policy goals, corporate positioning, and reputation. The intern will develop knowledge of BSA, its member companies, and the association’s high-priority issues, including intellectual property protection, trade policy, data privacy, and cybersecurity. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing public policy. The intern will work closely with and report to the Director, Legislative Strategy.

Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Washington, DC

The Senior Accountant is responsible for BSA and Subsidiary accounting, consolidations, and reporting to include preparation of the audited financial statements and internal management reports. The position is responsible for the general ledger, investment and EMEA revenue and receivables accounting, and other high-level accounting tasks. The Senior Accountant reports to the Assistant Controller and interacts directly with the Controller and CFO for accounting guidance and monthly and annual close activities.

Position: Communications Coordinator/Manager

The Communications Coordinator/Manager will work as part of a small team on external communications activities that support BSA’s policy goals, corporate positioning, and reputation. Position: Internet Investigator
Location: Washington, DC

The Internet Investigator will provide BSA with in-house, technical capability to investigate unauthorized electronic distribution of software and other forms of online copyright infringement. They will work as part of a small team to assist with the investigation of, and enforcement efforts against, unauthorized electronic distribution of software.
