BSA | The Software Alliance welcomes today’s joint statement from US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross and European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders. Their announcement that the US Department of Commerce and the European Commission will begin to work towards an enhanced US-EU Privacy Shield framework is a promising start towards developing a new, sustainable data transfer mechanism between the United States and European Union.
