BSA Addresses Colorado AI Amendment

Inside AI Policy

"It is unfortunate that Colorado lawmakers will likely adjourn their session without completing work on important improvements to the Colorado Artificial Intelligence Act,” Business Software Alliance director of policy Meghan Pensyl said, adding, “Senate Majority Leader Robert Rodriguez deserves tremendous credit for working constructively with Gov. Polis and industry and civil society stakeholders alike to make the CAIA more workable in practice.” 

BSA’s Pensyl said the industry group “encourages Colorado lawmakers to redouble their work to ensure their AI policies address risks and promote trust in and adoption of technology."
