BSA Calls for Federal Privacy Law to Bring Consistency to Existing Protections

“This year, we've seen a striking interest in amending existing laws to revise, expand and change their protections, and new obligations coming through rulemakings,” Kate Goodloe, managing director of the Business Software Alliance, told senators in Washington yesterday. “A federal law is needed to bring consistency to existing protections.”
