BSA Encourages AI Adoption as Key Priority in White House AI Action Plan

The Business Software Alliance says “clear and globally consistent expectations,” support for building out the necessary infrastructure and developing an AI-ready workforce are among the elements it is looking for in the Trump administration’s upcoming artificial intelligence action plan. The White House is expected to release the plan on July 23 and President Trump will discuss his administration’s approach to AI in a keynote during a “Winning the AI Race Summit” cohosted the same day by the All-In podcast and the Hill and Valley Forum.
"We expect the AI Action Plan to offer significant insight into the trajectory of AI policy during the Trump administration,” said BSA senior vice president of global policy Aaron Cooper in a July 21 statement. “BSA especially welcomes anything in the action plan that helps to promote the adoption of AI, the key factor in the global race toward national AI competitiveness.”
