BSA Encourages Cyber Resilience and Preparedness in Position Paper
Inside Cybersecurity
By Jaden Beard
The Business Software Alliance encourages the use of backups and recovery techniques to foster cyber resilience in a new position paper, along with recommendations to assist with preparedness in the event of a cyber attack.
“BSA suggests organizations adopt modern, automated backup solutions not as secondary safeguards but as foundational cybersecurity practice. The ability to rapidly restore systems to a trusted state without paying ransoms or sacrificing data integrity is not only a cybersecurity priority but a business differentiator,” according to the trade association.
The two-page position paper explores how backups reduce downtime and preserve trust.
