BSA Expresses Support for CISA Secure-By-Design Approach

The Business Software Alliance is encouraging the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to maintain boosting industry implementation of the secure by design principles as a key priority, following the departure of senior officials leading the product security initiative. 

“BSA has been advocating for a secure-by-design approach to software production for years and will continue to support innovative ways to deliver the best, most secure software to customers, including government agencies,” BSA senior policy director Henry Young told Inside Cybersecurity. 

Young said, “BSA looks forward to continuing to work with CISA as it sharpens its focus during the current administration, and we look forward to serving as a constructive industry partner that can offer policy solutions that are rooted in real-world experience and improve cybersecurity.”
