BSA Launches 2023 US Policy Agenda and Calls for First National Agenda for Digital Transformation

BSA | The Software Alliance President and CEO Victoria Espinel calls for a comprehensive federal privacy bill, and that Congress pursues policies that both ensure responsible development and continued innovation of AI.

“A proactive digital transformation agenda is vital for national competitiveness,” BSA president and CEO Victoria A. Espinel wrote in the letter. “The United States can spread the benefits of digital transformation by creating strong national policies that build trust and elevate standards for privacy, AI, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfers.”
