BSA Proposes Changes to FISMA Amendment in Senate Defense Policy Bill

“BSA supports the effort to update the Federal Information Security Management Act of 2014 (FISMA) as the bill established guidelines and cybersecurity standards across the federal government. BSA has been working with the authorizing committees of jurisdiction to sharpen the bill text,” the trade association says in a Thursday letter to Senate leadership and Armed Services Chairman Jack Reed (D-RI) and ranking member Roger Wicker (R-MS).
